Pinnacle Brewing plans Downtown Mesa taproom and kitchen for 2027
Pinnacle Brewing plans to open its second Valley location at 104 W. Main St. in Downtown Mesa in 2027. The Scottsdale brewery says the new site will pair its beers with a food program to be announced later.
Pinnacle Brewing is planning a second Valley location at 104 W. Main St. in Downtown Mesa. The company expects to open a taproom and kitchen there in 2027, taking over a space near Main Street and McDonald Road that was previously home to The Boutique.
The brewery is a family business started by Bob and Mary Wilson with their son Wyatt Wilson, who serves as brewmaster. Pinnacle opened its first location in 2024 at 15111 N. Hayden Road in Scottsdale, and its beer lineup is rooted in classic styles and Wyatt's formal brewing training.
Before launching Pinnacle, Wyatt worked at Dust Bowl Brewing in California, Monkless Belgian Ales in Oregon, and Mash Lab Brewing in Colorado. The idea for the company grew out of family conversations and homebrewing plans well before the Scottsdale brewery opened.
In an Instagram post, Pinnacle said Downtown Mesa stood out because of its walkable streets and strong local business community. The brewery said customers should expect the same beers and atmosphere from Scottsdale, with details on the food program still to come.
The Mesa move follows a strong run of recognition for the brewery, including 2025 Arizona Brewery of the Year, 2025 Best Brewery of the Valley, a bronze medal at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival, and Beer of the Year from USA Beer Ratings. More information about the kitchen and the opening timeline is expected in the months ahead.
