所以，問題依然存在：政策制定者、高等教育機構和來自世界各地的公民如何促進關於全球氣候政策的對話，從而引發行動？其中一項提案是要求建立卓越的能源利用系統，該提案將在亞利桑那州立大學全球永續發展研究所組織的即將召開的小組討論會上進行討論。

「拯救氣候政策」公共小組討論定於 2 月 5 日下午 4 點在亞利桑那州立大學坦佩校區 481 室瑞格利大廳內舉行。該演講將融合美國、歐洲和中國對先進能源使用系統的開發和採用的觀點。

專家小組認為，先進的能源使用系統不僅可以以最小的排放量提供能源，而且可以以更低的成本和/或更高的品質向客戶提供能源，從而為創建和採用此類能源系統創造全球競爭。

”This panel brings together high-level representatives from both the Chinese and the European climate policy communities with leading scientists at ASU,?said Sander van der Leeuw, ASU professor of anthropology and co-director of ASU抯 Complex Adaptive Systems Initiative. 揟he theme has been chosen to promote a discussion of this crucial topic across three continents, in the expectation that it will help overcome some of the barriers to greenhouse gas mitigation worldwide.”

”Despite some exceptions, the corporate world and the world of environmental concern are still light-years apart,?said Carlo Jaeger, panel moderator, visiting scholar at ASU and professor at Beijing Normal University in China. 揃ut to make progress in global climate policy we need what Martin Wolf of the Financial Times calls 慳 politically sellable vision of a prosperous low-carbon economy? This vision needs to include both worlds, as well as their contradictions. ASU is the right place to flesh out and help implementing such a vision.”
