The application address for Form N for Immigration and Naturalization has changed (Alberta Times) The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is working on improving the procedures for naturalization, naturalization and citizenship applications. Starting from October 30, 2011, people can mail this type of application form to a secure Lockbox mailbox instead of sending it to the local immigration office. This simplifies the processing of forms and speeds up collection and payment. Starting October 30, people should send naturalization and citizenship application documents directly to the applicable Lockbox mailbox. Application forms received by local immigration offices during the transition period from October 30 to December 2 will be forwarded to Lockbox for processing. However, application forms received by local immigration offices after December 2 will no longer be forwarded. Instead, they will be returned to the applicant and asked to resend them to the designated Lockbox mailbox. Forms N-336, N-600 and N-600K will be centralized at the Lockbox in Phoenix. Lockbox Dallas handles Form N-300. The N-400 form for people to apply for naturalization has been sent to the Lockbox mailbox. The application forms affected by this change are: N?00 Application to File Declaration of Intention (Application to File Declaration of Intention) N?36 Request for a hearing on a decision on naturalization processing N?00 Application for a citizenship certificate N?00K Application for citizenship and certificate issuance under Section 322 of the Immigration Act The Lockbox mailbox will start accepting N-type form applications on October 30 (Sunday). The last receipt time for application forms forwarded to Lockbox mailboxes by various Immigration Bureau offices is: December 2 (Friday). The Immigration Bureau has updated the N-form form webpage to explain these changes. Please read it carefully before sending it to make sure you send the correct form to the correct mailbox. People whose applications are sent to the wrong mailbox will not receive a refund and must resubmit and pay again. For more information about USCIS, please visit www.uscis.gov.
