> Jacqueline Lee Mok, Vice President and Provost of the University of Arizona Winning this year's "Tian Changlin Educational Leadership Award" demonstrates her contribution to higher education. The Tian Changlin Educational Leadership Award is sponsored by the Asian Pacific Fund. This honor is given every year to two Asian-Pacific people who have made outstanding contributions in leading university education and have the potential to serve as the highest leadership in higher education. Audrey Yamamoto, President of the Asia Pacific Foundation, said that the purpose of this award is to select and promote outstanding Asian and Pacific American educators to serve as top leaders of universities. This year, the selection committee of the Asia Pacific Foundation was particularly excited to present the award to Mok, who has a liberal arts background.
