HUD gives Arizona $1 million to fight housing discrimination (Alberta Times) Federal officials have awarded $1 million in grants to help Arizona victims of housing discrimination. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced Friday that two organizations will receive funding to help people afford housing in Arizona. HUD's Housing Fair Initiative offers competitive grants. The money is to help investigate allegations of discrimination and educate housing providers. The funding is part of $41 million already distributed across the country.
