Horn's hit-and-run pleads innocence (Alberta Times) The hit-and-run case of Arizona Attorney General Tom Horn was arraigned in a Phoenix court on November 2. Horn was charged with one count of leaving the scene after colliding with an unattended vehicle, a third-degree misdemeanor. Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery read out the FBI's investigative report released on October 1, which involved Horn's illegal fundraising of campaign funds and information about the car accident. Horn said that when the car accident occurred (March 27), he left because he did not notice any damage to any vehicles in the parking lot. Unexpectedly, his every move at that time fell into the eyes of the federal investigators who were monitoring him. Horn's attorney argued that Horn was not guilty.
