FBI: Fugitive killer may be hiding in Mormon community FBI agents say a cold-blooded killer who ran away without a trace after robbing an armed escort truck eight years ago now has evidence that he is hiding in a Mormon community on Honshu Island. Jason Brown is accused of fatally shooting guard Robert Palmares five times in an escort vehicle on Nov. 29, 2004, outside the Phoenix Theater off 48th Street and Ray Avenue. FBI investigator Blue Star said Brown left fingerprints on his $56,000 bicycle. Blue Star said Brown, 43, was a master liar who used a false identity to appear to be a Mormon. Brown grew up in Southern California and spent time living in Salt Lake City and Nevada. He is still on the list of the ten most wanted criminals in the country and has a bonus of $100,000. The FBI said Brown, who may have two handguns, is about 5'10" tall, weighs between 170 and 180 pounds, and has green eyes and blond hair.
