(Compiled by Gao Ziyan) PHOENIX (AP) The funeral of David Glasser will be held at Peoria Church this Thursday. Officer David Glasser, who served the Phoenix area, died from injuries sustained while on duty.

>Officer David Glasser passed away on May 19th. Just one day after being wounded by a burglary suspect. The suspect was later beaten to death by the police.

>Graveside services for David Glasser will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park and Cemetery in North Phoenix. A memorial service will follow at 10 a.m. at Christ's Church in the Valley.

A funeral procession will transport Glasser's remains from Peoria Church to Memorial Cemetery.

Officer Glasser was shot while responding to a resident call. A father called the police to report that his son had stolen his mug.

Officer Glasser and his partner pulled up behind suspect Israel Santos-Banos' car, unaware that 19-year-old Israel was in the vehicle.

The officer who was paired with Glasser said Santos-Banos got out of the car and opened fire. The police officer on duty fired back and killed him.
