Fengming: Interesting Carival freedom cruise in the Eastern Caribbean (Part 2) (Part 2…
(2) The first day of sailing Phoenix City Feng Ming took a brief look at this huge cruise ship after dinner. According to the information: it is a large cruise ship with a length of 952 meters, a tonnage of 110,000 (gross weight), and can carry nearly 3,000 tourists (2,980 people) and a crew of 1,150 people. There is a small swimming pool on the front deck, surrounded by large chairs for swimmers to rest and sunbathe. On the west side of the foredeck is the Lido Restaurant, which houses the mouth-watering Guy's Burger joint. Directly above the swimming pool, there is a large screen that continuously plays news and the latest movies in the evening for guests to enjoy. There are table tennis tables, massage rooms, fitness clubs, etc. on the tenth floor. There is also an oval-shaped track of more than 200 meters for guests to exercise. There is also a "twisting water slide" that children love. The fun-loving and brave children jumped into the water slide. Only laughter and screams were heard. Following the twists and turns of the water slide, they rushed into the large pool. The children danced and shouted happily, and then climbed up the stairs to line up for the second charge. On the stern deck, there is a swimming pool that is as big as the bow deck. The layout is the same as the front deck. There is a "Pirate Pizza" window in front of the swimming pool. There are a variety of flavors for guests to choose from. They are made fresh and taken away. There is often a long queue. While we were observing carefully, we didn't realize that it was getting dark and the ship had sailed into the deep sea. We really entered the interesting "Eastern Caribbean Carival Freedom Cruise" tour. Back in our guest room, the three of us were very excited and exclaimed that God created all things in the world and created man in His image, "and gave them dominion over the fish in the sea, and over the birds in the sky, and over the livestock on the earth, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." (Genesis 1:26) We humans have been doing God's will for generations. Today we can sail in the sea on a cruise ship, and God has blessed us. Everyone was tired from the day's work, so everyone turned off the lights and rested after washing. The next day, when the sky was still bright, the three of them woke up and looked out the window. The stars had just receded and the sun had just shown its smiling face. There were no mountains and dense clouds in the sea. The rising sun appeared and disappeared in the thin clouds. At 7:00am, the three of us went to have breakfast together on the ninth floor. We chose the foods we liked from various Western foods, as well as a delicious soup. We tore up the bread and put it in it, which still satisfied my taste. After the meal, my husband made me a torch-shaped ice cream, which looked very tempting. As I ate this sweet ice cream, I felt infinite emotion in my heart: My husband would never allow me to eat such desserts in the past (because my blood sugar was a bit high in the past). Breaking the prohibition today freed me up. Today we spent a day sailing in the sea. There was no docking project. We went up to the tenth floor and there was a table tennis table. No one was playing with it. My husband and I wanted to play some to get some enjoyment out of the game. However, due to the wind, the ball was so fluttered that we could not play at all, so we had to go back to the room to rest temporarily. Standing in front of the window and looking out through the glass window, the endless blue ocean and the bright light blue sky merge into a line in an endless place. It is difficult to tell where is the sea and where is the sky. Beautiful white clouds are floating on the sea and sky, which is very fascinating. In the quiet sea, the roar of the cruise engine can be heard from time to time. Looking out, there is a ship passing by the white waves on the side of the ship. Strings of water droplets are rushing to the surface of the water, clean and charming, as if telling people the true feelings of the sea. We went to the restaurant at noon, and still picked a few Western-style meals. We ate until we were about 80% full. After the meal, the three of us went back to the room to rest for a while. The second brother liked swimming, so he went to the swimming pool alone. Before dinner, Brother Zhang called and said that tonight we were going to have a big dinner in the banquet hall on the third floor. It was best to attend in formal attire. I asked my second brother and my husband to wear shirts and ties. I also put on the dress I had prepared. I had not worn such a formal dress for a long time, and suddenly I felt a little uneasy and uncomfortable when I walked. Fortunately, I didn’t know anyone. When I entered the banquet hall, I saw that everyone was dressed very formally and festively, so I calmed down and prepared to eat. Speaking of eating a big meal, I also had it on the "Golden Cruise" to Alaska in June last year. We ordered the dishes together with the children. It was a bit too troublesome. I ordered the appetizers first, then the main courses, and finally the desserts. This time, Brother Zhang accompanied us to order together. The dining tables of our two families are next to each other. It is a decorated and atmospheric place with twinkling lights. It is suitable for lovers or a family to dine together. The main meal tonight is lobster. After we finished the appetizers, the enthusiastic waiter soon served three lobsters. We could smell it as soon as it was placed on the table. There was a strong fishy smell, and the white lobster meat was placed outside the shrimp shell. It was a pity that such a good lobster was made like this. I had no choice but to sprinkle some fine salt and pepper powder, dip it in some sauce, and eat it bravely. I was really asking for trouble, and my Chinese stomach was not such a blessing. After dinner, I went to the theater opposite the banquet hall. There were not too many people, so I found a better seat and sat down. After a while, the performance started. It was 88`skys (a collection of pop songs from the 1980s). The entire stage was bright and dazzling, with lasers everywhere. The scenery was ever-changing, rising and falling, moving left and right, forward and backward. The costumes of the actors are also all kinds of strange and colorful. They change clothes every time they appear. The lighting design is all done by lasers, which makes people dazzled and dizzy. In the ears, there are strong rock music, fierce percussion, and high-pitched female voices singing at the top of their lungs. Those American audiences would sometimes dance and sing along. It seemed that they were all popular songs familiar to young people in the 1980s, which resonated with those present. Do they feel like they have returned to their youth, indulging in the memories of the past? Who says that old people are not crazy! Tonight's wonderful performance adds splendor to our cruise life!
