(2013-4-29 Chandler, AZ) When the temperature in the Sonoran Desert began to hit three digits frequently, the children began their long summer vacation. From May to August, parents with school-going children, in addition to planning scheduled family trips, are also thinking about at least one thing - what will their children learn this summer vacation?

“Allow students and parents to choose and focus” – this is the keyword of this summer’s New Oriental Art School (EAA) summer camp package in Chandler. From May 27 to August 2, 2013, EAA carefully prepared a happy and beneficial summer camp education program for children. It aims to continue to uphold and highlight EAA's artistic expertise and the characteristics of Chinese education, and to provide students and parents with optional and focused education packages.

New Oriental's traditional art summer camp Summer Camp is an educational project that has been loved by parents and students for many years. From Monday to Friday in the summer, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, students spend a fulfilling and happy time in rhythmic fitness, art, martial arts, music and Chinese courses.

Dance Intensive summer camp is designed to meet the requirements of students who are particularly interested in dance and want to use the summer to learn dance intensively. From Monday to Friday in the summer, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, students receive 4 hours of specialized dance education every day: basic skills, techniques and artistic training can be better accumulated and advanced in concentrated stages of learning. Each month students will learn a complete dance piece.

For the convenience of parents and friends of Dance Dance Summer Camp, students can arrive at school as early as 7:30am.

For parents who are busy all day long, you can choose the package design of Dance Dance Summer Camp + Art Summer Camp Summ Camp + Dance Intensive. That is to say, after the noon study at the Dance Dance Summer Camp, students will participate in the afternoon activities of the Art Summer Camp until school ends at 6:00 pm.

Wanting to help children strengthen their Chinese learning is another loud voice from parents and friends. Dance Intensive + Chinese Conversation & Writing Summer Camp is specially designed for students who want to balance dance and Chinese. After students complete the specialized dance courses in the morning, they will have a 2-hour Chinese conversation and writing course every afternoon from Monday to Friday. This course uses special teaching materials and is in charge of full-time teachers. It is taught in small classes and is subject to full registration. The class focuses on classroom practice, dialogue, reading, telling, writing and creation after teaching.

To facilitate pick-up and drop-off for busy parents, students at this Camp can leave the school before 6:00pm.

"Move and learn" has always been the educational theme of New Oriental. Children not only learn new things in enrichment and joy, but also improve their self-confidence. What is even more valuable is that often after a summer passes, students still gain new friendships and a summer of good memories.
