Black Rock Coffee Bar is adding three more Arizona locations as the coffee chain continues building its footprint in the state. The next shop is planned for 5937 N. 91st Ave., Suite 130, in Glendale, with an opening expected in June.
Two more Arizona stores are scheduled to follow in July. One is planned at 3103 S. McQueen Road in Chandler, and another is planned at 6272 E. 2nd Street in Prescott Valley.
The expansion gives customers in three different Arizona communities another place for coffee drinks, cold brew, tea, smoothies, energy beverages and protein options. The menu also includes breakfast items such as burritos, sandwiches, bagels, muffins and other baked goods.
Black Rock began in Oregon in 2008 under founder Jeff Hernandez. The company has grown from one coffee stand into a chain with more than 150 locations across the United States, and Arizona remains part of that wider growth plan.
