Police said two men fired more than a dozen shots in the parking lot outside the Ramada Hotel in Guadalupe Town on Tuesday. Fortunately, no one was injured. Detectives from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office said the shootout occurred near the busy AZ Mill Shopping Center. There were many bullet casings left at the scene. The gunmen had fled the scene before the police arrived. One of them drove away and the other ran towards the AZ Mill Shopping Center across the road. Afterwards, Tempe police searched the mall, and MSCO helicopters did not find the suspect in an aerial search. No suspicious person appeared on the mall's CCTV. Detectives said they had no clues about the suspects, and that the two suspects seemed to appear out of thin air and flee.
