A large amount of marijuana was found in the crashed SUV of an Avondale high school student (Alberta Times) Police reported that a 17-year-old youth was driving an SUV and was chased by Arizona Border Patrol agents on Wednesday morning. During the chase, the SUV rolled over and a large amount of marijuana was found inside. At 4 a.m. Wednesday, Border Patrol agents spotted a suspicious FORD EXPLORER SUV. When the police ordered it to stop, the car suddenly accelerated and tried to escape. The police then launched a high-speed chase. Malikpa County police set up a roadblock on Highway 85 to intercept the car, and the car rolled over in front of the roadblock. The driver, a 17-year-old youth, has been sent to the hospital with minor injuries. According to police, the suspect will be charged with felony transportation and sale of marijuana and arrest.
