ASU team competes for the Annual Student Entrepreneur Award (Alberta Times) There are five finalists for the 2011 Student Entrepreneur Award organized by Entrepreneur magazine, three of which are from ASU, Ellens Technologies, G3Box and Boson Inc. G3Box is a medical clinic converted from shipping containers. The leader of the team said that he hoped that after completion, it would improve fertility conditions in backward places such as Africa. Boson Inc. creates new 3D technologies, such as eye software, that can be adapted to various industries. Ellens Technologies has invented a medical application in animals to help people diagnose diseases. After success, it is hoped that it can be used in humans. Voting closes in September. The winner will receive a feature article in Entrepreneur magazine and a scholarship of 5,000 yuan.
