American Legion Thomas Tang Post 50 honored Chinese veterans at its annual 2013 fall banquet on Saturday, November 16, at the Great Wall Restaurant. The keynote speaker for the evening was WWII Veteran Henry Ong Jr. who described his experiences as a prisoner of war in a German prison camp. Legion Commander Jim Ong also welcomed Arizona Legion Commander Judith S. Beischel who said she was proud of American Legion Post 50 and the service that its members has done for its community. Over 150 veterans, family and friends attended the banquet to good food, dining music, door prizes, and dancing.
