The new book "Flying Tiger Fighting Spirit" was published on September 18th Chronicles of Heroic Arizona Chinese-American Servicemen of World War II During World War II, more than seventy Chinese disciples from Arizona in the United States enlisted to join the army. They bravely went to the Chinese battlefield, the Asia-Pacific battlefield and the European battlefield. Five of the soldiers died, six Chinese soldiers returned to the anti-Japanese front line of their motherland, and many joined the "Fourteenth Air Force of the United States Army" and became members of the "Flying Tigers". The battle deeds of Chinese-American soldiers in Alberta can be seen all over the world. They have repeatedly made military exploits and their deeds will always inspire future generations! On this occasion of "commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Anti-Fascist War and China's Anti-Japanese War", the author expresses his most heartfelt gratitude and high respect to them in the form of a collection of books! Chinese soldiers in Alberta have participated in many major battles. The content of "Flying Tiger Fighting Spirit" is based on the "Flying Tigers" as the main line, combining the description of heroic wars with the historical background of that year to feel the heroic spirit of Chinese-American soldiers. The book also records that in that unforgettable era, the overseas Chinese in the United States and the Chinese ancestors in Huanghuang City shared the same hatred of the enemy, established anti-Japanese and national salvation organizations, and made positive contributions to the victory of the motherland's Anti-Japanese War! "Flying Tiger Fighting Spirit" is compiled after years of data collection, review and compilation. During this period, the author interviewed many Chinese soldiers who participated in World War II and read a large amount of materials about World War II. He received strong support from members of the Flying Tigers, veterans of the European battlefields and other overseas Chinese seniors. They provided precious information, including books, photos, newspapers, magazines, etc., some of which were publications from the Anti-Japanese War period. From this perspective, "Flying Tiger Fighting Spirit" is also a deflationary book about World War II materials, which is worth reading and collecting. "Flying Tiger Fighting Spirit" is edited by Zhang Zhaohong, Chen Pu suggested the title of the book, Zheng Hong provided the back cover art photo, and Sun Jianping designed and produced it. The manuscript has been collected by the "Flying Tiger Club" in Kunming, Yunnan, China, and the "China Overseas Chinese History Museum" has issued a certificate of honor as a collection. It was specially chosen to be published and distributed on September 18 in order to remember history and not forget the national humiliation; cherish peace and face the future. The author would like to express his most heartfelt thanks to the overseas Chinese and many groups for their strong support and encouragement!
