The National Day cultural delegation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China will tour 13 cities in the United States in September. The Overseas Chinese Affairs Council's National Day cultural delegation to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China will tour the United States from September 9 to October 10 in Boston, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, Portland, Washington, DC, and New York, performing 14 performances. The performance will celebrate the National Day with overseas Chinese and share Taiwan's high-quality culture with mainstream American society. Through this artistic feast, the world will see the vitality and cultural vitality of Taiwan. The visiting group is led by Taiwan's cross-border Chinese music orchestra "Wu Shuang Ensemble". With the theme of "Brilliant 100 Music Spreading Around the World", it reinterprets Chinese and Taiwanese classic songs, pop music and world famous songs. The orchestra's performances include flute, liuqin, dulcimer, sanxian, small ruan, zhongruan, pipa, yueqin, guzheng, erhu, cello, percussion, bel canto and dance, showing the beauty of fashionable neoclassical music. The "Unparalleled Band" has performed all over the world, touring in Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and other countries in Central and South America. The venues were sold out and it made the headlines of local media and entertainment many times. In February 2010, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Council's Spring Festival cultural delegation was organized to tour Europe, which received enthusiastic response from overseas Chinese and foreign friends in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and other places. The selected tracks such as "Rainy Night Flower", "White Peony", "I Only Care About You", "Sweet Honey" and "Grateful Heart" represent the memories and moods of different generations in Taiwan.
