August 2, the child booster seat law came into effect (Alberta Times) Attention Arizona motorists, as this column mentioned last month, the state’s new traffic safety law takes effect on August 2, mainly involving child safety seats. The new law stipulates that children under four years old must use a restrained seat (Car Seat) when riding in a car, and children under seven years old and under 4 feet 9 inches must use a booster seat, also known as a booster seat. Violations of this law will result in a $50 fine.
