7-11 coffee cup determines the winner of the presidential election (Alberta Times) The convenience store chain 7-Eleven used its own method to select the President of the United States, which is to allow consumers who buy coffee to freely choose whether they want a cup printed with red or blue. Many Americans like to buy a cup of coffee at a convenience store in the morning. The local 7-11 chain launched a red cup representing the Republican Party and a blue cup representing the Democratic Party on Saturday morning, allowing coffee buyers to choose. Although this poll is unscientific, 7-Eleven management is full of confidence and says it has successfully predicted the winner of the election in the past three years. "The results we got were very close to the actual poll results," said Ray Colony, marketing manager for the state's 7-Eleven. As of Monday, President Obama was leading in Phoenix and Mesa, while Gilbert residents favored Romney. Whether Democrats or Republicans, the outcome will be known on Super Tuesday. Before that, go to 7-11 and buy a cup of Obama or Romney coffee as a souvenir.
