Asian households rank first in the United States with an annual consumption of RMB 61,000, and their purchasing power will soar by RMB 1 trillion in five years. Market research company Nielsen recently conducted a survey specifically on Asian consumers. The survey data shows that the purchasing power of Asian Americans has increased 5.23 times since 1990, reaching US$718.4 billion this year. If Asian American consumers formed a country, it would be the 18th largest economy in the world. According to a report by the Nielsen research company, the purchasing power of Asian Americans will soar to $1 trillion in the next five years. Currently, 28% of Asian families have an annual income of more than $100,000, while only 18% of American families have an annual income of more than $100,000.
