Honda recalls 550,000 CR-V and Pilots models (Alberta Times) Honda is recalling 550,000 CR-V compact crossover and Pilot sport utility (SUV) models due to possible loss of lighting function in the headlights. The company said that due to wiring problems, the headlight beam failed and thus lost its lighting function. According to the Associated Press, the wiring problem in Honda models this time is that the wiring connecting the headlight switch is not reliable, which may cause the wiring to loosen after a period of time. The recalled models are: 2002-2004 CR-V models and 2003 Pilots models. Honda stated on its official website that there have been no reports of accidents or injuries related to this issue so far. Owners of such models will receive a factory inspection notice before the end of April. If you want faster information to know whether your car is under recall, please go to Honda's official website (www.recalls.honda.com) or call 800-999-1009 extension 4 to inquire.
