China News Service, June 11. According to the US "Sing Tao Daily" report, the US suspect Isaac Campbell (Isaac Campbell), who killed his Chinese girlfriend Lu Liya in 2007, was found guilty of intentional homicide by the jury on the 8th and is expected to be sentenced next month.

After less than two days of closed-door deliberations, the jury reached a consensus on the 8th and found Campbell guilty of intentional homicide. In addition, Campbell was also found guilty of possession of marijuana and trafficking in marijuana. His sentencing is scheduled for July. The jury found that Campbell, 37, killed his girlfriend, Lulia, who was only 31 years old at the time, on August 12, 2007.

According to court testimony, about a month after Luria disappeared, a friend of Campbell discovered a secret he had stored in a trash can at his friend's house: Luria's almost dried body. According to the testimony, Campbell's friends found Luria's body wrapped in a plastic bag with some cat litter on top. Campbell's friend, who lives in Arcadia, discovered the secret and immediately called the police.

About a month later, the police found Campbell in Minnesota and arrested him and extradited him back to California.

After a long debate last year, the jury finally failed to reach a consensus. Campbell was not found guilty of murder, and the case was dismissed 10 to 2. In two trials last year and this year on Campbell's suspicion of killing his girlfriend, prosecutors have maintained that Campbell killed Luria in his Alhambra apartment and stored her body indoors for four days. Afterwards, Campbell moved Luria's body to the backyard of his friend's house.

During the Lulia murder trial, the defense has always insisted that Campbell only discovered Lulia's death and failed to handle the matter in a panic. The defense believes that in the Luria murder case, not only did Campbell not kill Luria, but in fact there was no murder at all.

Lulia's body was highly decomposed when it was found, and the police coroner was unable to confirm the cause of Lulia's death. Campbell and Luria met while they were nursing students at Pasadena Community College. Campbell has been in jail for more than five years since his arrest, with his bail set at $1.275 million.
