The Chevrolet Cruze sedan produced by General Motors may have an engine misfire problem. General Motors announced on the 22nd that it is recalling this small car that has helped the company win back many consumers.

This recall will affect 475,000 cars manufactured from September 2010 to May 2012. This is the fifth recall since the car was launched, causing consumers to question the reliability of the car.

The company stated that if liquid or oil drips onto the thermoplastic cover under the engine, it may cause engine fire problems. Usually spilled engine oil may cause this problem if it is not wiped clean.

General Motors will notify car owners starting from July 11 that they can go to the dealer for free repairs, which will only take 30 minutes. The company says the problem may also occur in manual transmission Cruze sedans if the transmission system wears out, but is less likely to occur. GM is recalling another batch of Cruze sedans because of a loose fuel tank bracket. 61,000 Cruze vehicles are subject to recall due to this problem. The company said it had discovered that 249 Cruze vehicles had poorly welded fuel tank frames, which could cause the tanks to loosen if the cars collide, potentially causing oil leaks or fires. The dealer will repair the defective vehicle. The problem was discovered during GM's internal safety inspection. Cruze was launched in September 2010. Among other new models launched at the same time, Cruze has the most recalls.
