The number of Arizona COVID-19 cases caused by the new coronavirus has now exceeded 1,700, with 41 known deaths, according to new data released by the Arizona Department of Health Services on Friday.

Two more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Mohave. The first confirmed case involves an adult recovering at home in isolation in the Lake Havasu City area. Health officials say the person is epidemiologically related to a previous case. The second is an adult from nearby Kingman who is also in isolation and recovering at home.

An individual who works at Fort Huachuca and is a resident of Cochise has the first positive case of COVID-19 in the area and has become the fifth confirmed case in the county, a spokesperson confirmed.

Yavapai has 41 confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of seven from the previous day.

The total number of cases identified in Arizona is 1,776, according to the latest state data. Since Thursday, the state has reported 1,598 confirmed cases and 32 deaths, an increase of 171 cases, or 11%.

The growth rates in the past three days are 13%, 10%, and 11% respectively, and the total number of people tested is about 25,000.

Maricopa County with 1050 cases.

Navajo County with 148 cases.

Pinal County with 77 cases.

Coconino County with 126 cases.

Pima County with 280 cases.

Graham County with 2 cases.

Yavapai County with 41 cases.

Santa Cruz County with 3 cases

Cochise County with 5 cases

Yuma County with 13 cases

Apache County with 17 cases

Mohave County with 9 cases

La Paz with 2 cases

Maricopa County's health department provided more details about its cases, which total 1,049, with 1,050 confirmed cases as of Thursday morning.

From Thursday to Friday, confirmed cases increased by 86.

The majority of cases, 562, accounting for 54%, are male.

>21 people under the age of 19 have tested positive.

> People aged 20 to 44 account for 39% of positive cases, followed by those aged 45-64 at 36% and those over 65 at 23%.

>19%, or 204 cases, have been hospitalized. This is 21 more cases than Thursday. 7%, or 76 cases, are in intensive care. That's eight more cases than Thursday.

As you get older, your likelihood of being hospitalized or in the intensive care unit increases. Among those aged 20-44, 38 are hospitalized, including 11 in the ICU. For people aged 45-64, 72 people are hospitalized, 29 of whom are in intensive care units. Among people over 65, 94 are hospitalized and 36 are in the ICU.

>17 people died in Maricopa County. Five of them are between the ages of 45-64, and 12 are over the age of 65.
