Dr. Yang Tong walked up to the podium. He said that from a Chinese immigrant to becoming a doctor, he received support from many relatives, friends, and colleagues. Now is his time to give and help others. He is very happy to participate in activities in the Chinese community, which makes him feel "rooted". The annual “Beauty of Asia and Pacific” fundraising dinner is also a large gathering of Chinese doctors in Arizona. There are about 50 or 60 Chinese working in the medical field in Phoenix, and nearly 30 doctors and their friends were invited that night. Yu Wenjin, a senior overseas Chinese leader, and the Overseas Chinese Federation of Alberta (Hualian) hope that Chinese schools will also come to the scene to express their support.

The "Beauty of Asia-Pacific" fundraising dinner is one of the highest-level charity dinners in the Asia-Pacific community. It is divided into three parts: charity auction, dinner, and talent show. Companies and individuals who support Asia-Pacific health causes have donated their collections of art and company products. Guests attending the dinner can purchase it through charity fundraising. The banquet is $100 per seat, of which $65 is donated to charity. At the end of the event, there is a talent show of celebrities from various Asian countries, and the audience can judge through charitable donations.
