After many months of in-depth consultations, the Macao SAR government and the Taiwan authorities reached a consensus on the establishment of a comprehensive office in Taiwan, and the Macao SAR government agreed to establish the "Taipei Economic and Cultural Center" in Macao. There are nearly 1.3 million tourists from Taiwan to Macao every year. Many Taiwanese businessmen are interested in investing in Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.
