The 18th Hong Kong Fashion Festival Spring and Summer Collection, hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center for four consecutive days starting from the 4th, attracting more than 1,300 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions including Mainland China, India, Japan and South Korea.

This year, the exhibition has added "Denim Clothing" and "Fashion Handbags" special areas, displaying a variety of fashion accessories made of denim and new designs of handbags as one of the main accessories of fashion. The conference will also focus on promoting Hong Kong's new design forces, and will showcase the latest works of more than 10 local designers through a fashion show with the theme of "Traveling Through Time". In addition, students from two Hong Kong universities will also hold special fashion shows.

Hong Kong Trade Development Council Vice President Zhou Kailiang said that Hong Kong's local fashion designers and the garment industry complement each other and develop simultaneously. On the one hand, they are creative and flexible to keep up with market needs; on the other hand, they have rich marketing experience.

Also held at the same time is the 8th Hong Kong Summer Gifts, Household Products and Toys Fair. A total of 146 nearly 6,200 buyers from 70 countries and regions participated in the two exhibitions.
