The Party Mother’s three major intentions in commemorating the centenary of 1911
The Party Mother’s three major intentions in commemorating the 100th anniversary of 1911. First, to promote the continuity and legitimacy of the Chinese Communist regime. Leaders of the Communist Party of China have emphasized at the four commemorative conferences that the CCP is the revolution of Sun Yat-sen...
Second, united front against Taiwan, focusing on national reunification. Hu Yaobang reiterated that completing the great cause of reunification, realizing the four modernizations (agriculture, industry, national defense and scientific and technological modernization), and safeguarding world peace are the three major tasks of the CCP; Yang Shangkun expressed uneasiness about the country not being reunified, Jiang Zemin urged the three links between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, and Hu Jintao called for joint efforts to achieve national rejuvenation.
Third, use Sun Yat-sen's banner of "revitalizing China" and appease both domestic and foreign countries with Sun Yat-sen's "Three People's Principles". "People's Daily" published four editorials to commemorate the Revolution of 1911. The first two were themed on the revitalization of China and the last two were on national rejuvenation. The focus was on calling for the great unity of the Chinese people at home and abroad.
In fact, the CCP uses force to conquer the world and has so far refused democratic elections. The source of power is not granted by the people. This is a castration of Sun Yat-sen's "Three People's Principles" (nation, civil rights, and people's livelihood). The CCP bypasses democracy and civil rights, calls for national reunification and national rejuvenation, and emphasizes the leadership of the CCP and socialist construction. In essence, it practices love for the Party in the name of patriotism.
