These billionaires directly questioned Congress. They believed that the U.S. immigration policy has dealt a blow to their own citizens. "Americans deserve better," they thought. Moreover, the wealthy believe that a bill should be passed that would allow them to be admitted as American citizens regardless of their political views.
"Congress has failed to solve the existing problems. If our legislators cannot take some actions to change something, then the opposition will lock the situation and pose a threat to the national interests of the United States. We do not think it is normal for almost all corporate executives to be Americans," the billionaires wrote.
Gates, Buffett and Adelson believe that most Americans believe that the immigration bill was revised to safeguard the interests of U.S. citizens and U.S. immigrants. It should be able to meet the differences between different groups, but the current U.S. immigration policy does not really do this.
