"Man-made money dies, and birds die for food." A short talk about the modern view of money Wang Zhaixian The ancients said: "Man perishes for wealth, and birds perish for food." It's true. In this evil era where money is more important than life, and everyone is focused on money, we often hear and see on the news and TV that many people risk their precious lives to kill people, rob banks, treasuries, drugstores, and gold shops. Some are even confused by money and have their own parents killed and buried for the sake of inheritance. Hiding, and killing brothers and friends for property, and some young people, for money, joined the underworld and gangs, and ended up either committing suicide or committing suicide. If we include cases of robbing passers-by in broad daylight or snatching personal money and treasure at night, I don’t know how many robberies there are, it’s probably hard to count! Although economic storms often occur, there are still many countries where the economy is still prosperous and living standards are generally improving. Why are so many robberies happening now? If you are suffering from famine and do not have three meals a day, it may be excusable to take risks and rob property for the sake of food. It is easy to understand the motivation. However, today, when everyone has abundant income, there are still such criminal cases that sacrifice life, gun and wealth. Isn’t it to fulfill the ancient saying that people die for wealth. These perpetrators were eventually arrested, some were shot, some were sentenced to death, or were being prosecuted. It can be seen from this that the magic power of money is so great that people know that it is a tiger's mouth or a pit of fire, but they still jump into the fire pit one after another, and fall into the trap, and die like moths to the flames! Is money really so magical that we should work hard to fight for it? Although there is a saying that "Money can make the world go round". The Bible also says: "Money can make all things happen." (Ecclesiastes 10:19) But there are many things that money cannot do! Money can buy gorgeous houses, but not a happy family; money can buy theater tickets, but not peace of mind; money can buy nutritional supplements, but not immortality; money can buy airplanes, but not tickets to heaven; money can, but money cannot. Therefore, the Bible also says: "Charge those who are rich in this world not to be puffed up or to rely on uncertain money, but to trust in God who richly provides us with all things for our enjoyment." (2 Timothy 6:7) The love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some people who love money are tempted away from the truth and pierce themselves with many sorrows. Therefore, the Bible teaches us: "Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can carry nothing out, but let us be content, as long as we have food and clothing. For those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and into many foolish and harmful desires, which lead to destruction and destruction." (1 Timothy 6:6-10) As the saying goes: "Content is always happy." Only those who are content are the richest people in the world. May we all rely on God who gives us strength and be contented people who are content with everything and are content with what we have.
