(Alberta Times)

Uncle Jia has been writing a column in the Alberta Times for a long time. Considering his advanced age, he can write so diligently and non-stop for a long time and share his ideas. This is a blessing to us Chinese people in Alberta. Among those who write in newspapers and magazines, except for journalists, most of their articles are prose or artistic literature. There are not many who can speak uprightly, speak truth sincerely, and are unwilling to flatter others. This is a rare example for our Chinese writing community and must be praised. The Chinese population in Alberta, especially in the Dalu City area, has increased significantly in the past ten years, and there are also many talents in all fields, including experts in academia and scientific and technological elites. I hope that there will be more "pens" in the Chinese community to share their expertise, their experience, their wisdom, and their perseverance. Let cultural contributions and dedication strengthen our overseas Chinese community, and let wisdom and experience make our overseas Chinese community healthier and more prosperous.
