In every presidential election in Taiwan, the Democratic Progressive Party always uses the slogan "We are here together", just like the folk story of "The wolf is coming". The shepherd loves to lie and is not honest, and violates the original intention of telling the truth, teasing people several times and finally being abandoned. In the middle of the last century, in the 1950s and 1960s, the Communist Party spread and brought harm to half of the world, especially backward Chinese countries in Asia and Africa. They were easily infiltrated by the Communist Party. Many people in China were controlled, struggled, reformed, and tried by the Communist Party. During the famine and turmoil, more than 20 million people died. The mention of the Communist Party was even more fearful of terrorists than Americans are today. After more than half a century, the wisdom of the people and the wheel of society have continued to spin. Governments around the world have changed or abandoned communism. Since China's return to opening up after Deng Xiaoping, China has undergone political reforms, economic rise, social prosperity, people's freedom of life, and democratic improvements in the past thirty years. China is really not like the mystery of Mao Zedong's period. Honorary Chairman of the Kuomintang Lien Chan and Chairman of the People's People's Party Soong Chu thought that the brothers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait would not tolerate hostility, so they went north to melt the ice. The Ma Ying-jeou government can stabilize peace across the Taiwan Strait and enable people to trade, navigate, and marry without any worries. In this Taiwan election, the Ma Ying-jeou government won and a group of big businessmen before the election, such as Wang Xuehong and Terry Gou, came out to support the 1992 Consensus and the ECFA agreement. This shows that The path taken in the past is correct and the people are willing to accept it. If the DPP wants to enter the political arena again in the future, it must not only change its slogan and not say "The Communist Party is Coming", but also be like the KMT, which is not afraid of wolves and dances with wolves in order to survive. However, the DPP is now at a crossroads, whether it should revise and adjust its cross-strait policies. At the same time, the party is in trouble. Tsai Ing-wen resigned as party chairman after losing the election, which caused factional disputes and mutual criticism. The DPP has Cross-Strait issues have always been easy to understand but difficult to do. They have never recognized that China is one China, nor have they recognized the Chinese as Chinese. How can we build the confidence of Taiwanese and mainland people in their handling of cross-Strait issues? Moreover, now that the DPP is leaderless, the four kings have all lost the election, and they all have their own agendas. The attitudes of the new trend factions are only on the sidelines. Who can shoulder the burden of the DPP? Tsai Ing-wen performed very well in the election this time, with more than 6 million votes. She was only 800,000 votes away from winning the election. This was a big difference from the more than 2 million votes received by Xie Supei in 2008. Now there is a call within the Democratic Progressive Party and society for Tsai Ing-wen to fight again in 2016.
