With clear water and green mountains, yellow sand and white waves, blue sky and colorful clouds, warm wind and bright sun, soft singing and dancing, and abundant flowers and fruits, Hawaii is like a string of shining emeralds, deliberately scattered in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You say how beautiful it is, it is as beautiful as it is! This tourist resort and resort paradise, which consists of eight islands and covers an area of about 16,700 square kilometers, was officially incorporated into the territory of the United States on August 21, 1959. But in fact, since 1900, it has been the strategic outpost and military base of the United States in the Far East, and has become the sea and air transportation center for the United States to interact with Asian countries. However, due to the complex race of people, including Indians, Japanese, Filipinos, Chinese, Vietnamese, Koreans and the indigenous Polynians, each showing their own special abilities, at first glance, it seems that it is not so much a state in the United States as a large complex of Oriental people, a big shop. And the participation of one more ethnic group means the integration of one more culture. The result will inevitably make life more colorful. For us gourmets, it means enjoying more choices. Often, a very ordinary meal may be filled with a mixture of things and flavours. This is another beauty of Hawaii. In addition to enjoying the scenery of the mountains and waters, we should also find a place to sit down and have a meal, so as to appreciate the talent and enthusiasm of the landlord. Relying on mountains to eat mountains and relying on water to eat water, when you come here, you will naturally think of fish and shrimps. And restaurants in Hawaii are indeed famous for cooking fish and shrimp. The special feature is that the dish is fresh, crispy and juicy, truly full of color, flavor and taste. It is guaranteed to leave a fragrant aroma in your teeth and cheeks and an endless aftertaste after eating it. What is a little surprising is that the shrimp that is widely recommended and considered to be the best in the world does not come from a splendid five-star hotel restaurant, but from a shabby roadside stall! The name of this stall is Giovanni. Because a white truck is used as the kitchen, everyone calls it the White Truck Shrimp. It is located at the northern end of Highway 83 (Kamehamehahwy) in Honolulu, not far from the water skiing resort, between Laie Beach and Sunset Beach. But if it weren't for the big sign on the roadside, it would be hard to find it. Even if I found it, I wouldn't believe it. How could the place be so shabby? There were a few long tables, a few benches, a tent, and a broken car. The car's name was densely and crookedly signed by customers. It really didn't look decent. However, such a shabby stall turned out to be a good place to visit, and the business was booming, which aroused the desire of many colleagues, and suddenly there were several more "white cars". The old car owner was afraid of being fooled, so he had to be a little more verbose and add a few big characters under the store name: Original White Shrimp Truck! You are welcome to visit, so please recognize the house number. There is also an equally famous shrimp shop located in the AlaMoana shopping mall, which is a close neighbor of Jackie Chan Restaurant. If you hadn't eaten white car shrimp before, the food here might be considered first-rate. But what we are going to talk about is not the shrimp, but the tableware, which was so dirty that it seemed that it had not been washed. The waiter promised to replace it, but after waiting for a long time, it didn't come. After many urgings, it finally came, but it was even dirtier than before! I really didn't expect that a snail spoiling a pot of soup would still happen in a famous store! It is also in the Ala Moana shopping mall. A large restaurant called MariPosa (Neiman Marcus) deserves a special introduction. Its shrimp preparation is a bit different, the taste is not too strong, and the appearance is relatively simple, but it is sweet and crispy in the mouth. Compared with the above two restaurants, it has a unique flavor. It would be even better if you can find a seat next to the railing. From a high position, overlooking the beautiful scenery of Pacific Beach Park, and gently clinking glasses with your relatives and friends, you will feel particularly warm. MariPosa is delicious, as well as Moi (crispy skin) fish and Onaga (ginger sauce) fish. But each mountain is higher than the other. The Onaga (ginger sauce) fish at Alan Wong restaurant with the same name tastes richer, sweeter, more delicious and refreshing due to the addition of macadamia nuts. It is the best! If the whole family comes together, it is also good to visit the Pacific Beach Hotel in Waikiki. The buffet on the first floor and the seafood restaurant on the second floor allow you to watch and eat fish at the same time. The two-story large fish tank stores 280,000 gallons of water, which is comparable to large aquariums and is quite spectacular. But what I want to introduce here is not fish, but lobster. The cooking method may be a bit conservative, but it is clean and neat, and the original flavor of the lobster can be served. Considering the Hawaiian cooking habits that emphasize strong aroma and strong flavor, this method is very refreshing. The Mandarin Hotel where we stayed also had four restaurants. Among them, the flagship store Hoku's raw and fried fish is very vigorous and hot-selling. The taste of Japanese cuisine at "Tokyo Tokyo" next to the main entrance is no less than that of Tokyo's first-class restaurants. Especially the CabanaGrill barbecue restaurant hidden in the woods, the atmosphere is extremely mysterious. After dark, light the torch, lower the curtain, listen to the waves crashing on the shore, eat raw seafood, drink wine, I don't know how romantic it is! As a five-star hotel, its buffet is a bit disappointing, neither the service nor the food is very good. Yes, I am just a tourist. I come and go in a hurry, and I will inevitably lose everything. I can only hope that my colleagues will do more exploration and supplements.
