I felt very depressed. The office of our Agricultural Machinery Repair Department is on the third floor. The single dormitory where I live is on the third floor of another building. I go down and up the third floor every day. Climbing the stairs has become a good way for me to exercise. When going upstairs, two steps at a time, I ran up the stairs without losing breath, and when I went downstairs, I felt like walking on flat ground, and I was as light as a swallow. When my colleagues saw me, a new young man who was full of energy, they were willing to chat and make friends with me. Soon I discovered that there was a table tennis table in the corridor on the third floor of our office. Colleagues would play ball after lunch and dinner. With the support of my colleagues, I also entered the table tennis battlefield. Since I haven't played for a long time, I was quickly eliminated. I took English classes and classical literature classes. After dinner, I rode my bicycle to attend classes at a distant amateur school. I felt like I had endless energy. At that time, the part-time study class was a free study class promoted and supervised by the Education Bureau in order to improve the cultural and professional technical level of employees and make it more conducive to the development of work. For myself, it has improved my literary accomplishment and enabled me to write more and better work briefings. The department leaders also support my business learning. The winter of that year was extremely cold. I remember the first heavy snowfall. I don’t know when the heavy snow started falling at night. When I went downstairs for morning exercises after washing up as usual, I found that the courtyard of the government agency was already covered with snow. Thick white snow covered the entire courtyard, so my morning exercises were immediately changed to snow sweeping. I found a big broom in the storage room of the dormitory building, swept it with all my strength, and sang my favorite song. This is the nature of young people. The new institution is located in the eastern suburbs far away from my home. I can only go home once a week to help my elderly parents do some housework. There is no family burden, my lover is far away in the army, and I can spend all my spare time by myself. Over the past year, my work, study, and leisure activities have been rich and colorful.
