The urban environmental sanitation of Los Angeles can be described as dirty, chaotic, and poor. Occasionally there would be a smell when the car passed by. Maybe we didn't go to the wealthy areas and luxurious construction areas, so wherever I went, I left such a bad impression. In Phoenix, trees and flowers complement each other. No matter in spring, summer, autumn or winter, the trees are lush, the flowers are blooming, and the grass is green. Although it is said to be a city built in a sand mold, it can be called an oasis in the sand mold. These elegant and clean living environments are the result of hard-working sanitation workers using their dexterous hands and hard work. Their ingenious and unique sculptures and hard work are left everywhere. We sincerely offer our sincere gratitude and blessings to these many sanitation workers! We live in the elegant and clean environment of Greater Phoenix City, and we usually don’t feel much about it, because we become accustomed to it, and it seems that Phoenix City is like this. If you pay a little attention, you will know that it does not come easily. When I do my morning exercises every day, I often find many sanitation workers as soon as I go out. They have been working for a long time. They had put the dead branches and leaves trimmed from the flowers, plants and trees in piles on the sacks. When the car came, they would put the bags in the car and take them away. They used a blower to blow away the grass clippings. The sidewalk was blown clean, but their bodies were covered with dust. No matter how hot the weather is or how high the temperature is, they usually wear yellow-green long-sleeved coats and hats with dust covers on their heads. Groups of three and five perform their own tasks. Some people drive lawn mowers to cut the grass, while others use tools to cut branches and flowers, so that every tree and flower is neatly trimmed, beautiful and unique in shape, each showing its charm to passers-by. The entire Phoenix City is like a garden lined with green trees and blooming flowers. Several times I saw a car equipped with a crusher. Large branches were put in, and the machine rumbled. The branches crushed by the crusher turned into green powder, which was spit out from the crusher. This green powder can be used to make feed for cattle and sheep. It is all harmless green feed. Every once in a while, when weeds have just sprouted, sanitation workers carry sprayers and spray them wherever they go, killing every weed in its buds. No matter it is cold, winter or hot, these environmental guards work hard every day to maintain an elegant and clean environment in Phoenix. Most of them are Mexican workers. Although their work is dirty, hard, and tiring, they are all working and happy. Sometimes I would see them taking a break during work. They would sit around and eat the lunch they had prepared. They would laugh loudly while eating, and their own speakers would play cheerful music. They enjoyed it. We should respect their work, consciously maintain environmental hygiene, and refrain from spitting and littering, so that Phoenix will always be like a big garden lined with green trees and blooming flowers.
