Phoenix City Zhang Zhaohong
In many club activities, people can see Ms. Yu Yongyu (Angie Yu). She always does her job in a low-key and unobtrusive way. She has been a member of the leadership team of the Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation for many terms. She was also a leading member of the Overseas Chinese Women's Association, the current Phoenix Industrial and Commercial Branch, Yu Fengcaitang and other societies. Yu Yongyu works hard and is down-to-earth, and is well received by everyone. Moreover, she is also a teacher at Phoenix Chinese School. She has been caring for the next generation for many years and nurturing the growth of Chinese students. Many of the photos she took were of fun times with her children.
When we were preparing to celebrate the National Day this year, I told her that my father had suffered a stroke. She comforted me and reassured me, and said that taking care of the family was the most important thing. Every time we met in the future, she would ask about my father and wish him a speedy recovery. But more than ten days ago, at the Overseas Chinese Federation meeting, everyone learned that Yu Yongyu had suffered a stroke. She had suffered a deep stroke and was unconscious. She had been sent to the hospital. She died a few days later. The Phoenix Overseas Chinese Federation and many associations express deep condolences for Angie's death. Everyone remembers her contribution to the overseas Chinese community and her voice and smile.
