Man drove his car into the Grand Canyon and fell 1,000 meters off a cliff and miraculously survived. The Grand Canyon National Park said on the 27th that a 21-year-old man accidentally fell off a cliff while driving in the park and miraculously survived. Park spokeswoman Maureen Traugo said that the man accidentally drove his car and fell off a cliff more than 1,000 meters high on the 25th. Fortunately, the car fell about 61 meters and hit a large pine tree, stopping its fall. The man then climbed out of the car and onto the cliff. Reuters reported that a passerby saw the injured man on a road near the park and called the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center. The man is now receiving treatment at a hospital in Flagstaff City and his injuries are not life-threatening. "What a lucky man," said Ertraogo. The park is currently investigating the incident.
