Recently, Gawker.com, a left-leaning news and gossip blog, ranked Arizona as the worst state in the country. In fact, the website refers to the Grand Canyon State as an angry old white man at a rattlesnake pit, with Governor Brewer dubbed a "elf-eyed psychopath" and Sheriff Arpaio a crazed cowboy wannabe. "I'm just a little old and just want to do my job," Arpaio said. Richard Rosen is a staff member on this site. "I think this is now a manifestation of people venting their dissatisfaction with political events." Rosen said that he actually likes Arizona and has been there many times.
