Happy Autumn Hike Free Admission to the Grand Canyon this Saturday In celebration of National Public Lands Day, visitors to the Grand Canyon this Saturday will receive free admission. Since 1994, the Grand Canyon has joined several national parks in offering free admission on National Public Lands Day to encourage outdoor activities. This free fee does not include camping and other tourist activities. Grand Canyon National Park tickets are generally valid within seven days. In this event, if tourists enter the park again on the next day, they will be charged the usual admission fee. Grand Canyon National Park has two free admission events each year, including one in November, primarily for veterans.
