>Arizona centennial license plate is on the market (Alberta Times) 2012 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of Arizona. Among the festivities is a centenary special number plate sale. The special license plate went on sale on October 31 on the Centenary website. The license plate uses the Arizona state flag as the background color. Price is $25, with proceeds benefiting the Arizona Centennial 2012 Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to education and recognition of Arizona's 100th year.
