Latest report shows: Arizona drivers have worst driving records According to the latest report from carinsurancecomparison.com, Arizona drivers are actually among the worst drivers in the United States. Researchers who reviewed traffic tickets, fatalities, drunk driving and negligent driving statistics found the worst drivers were in Louisiana, followed by Florida, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma. Arizona is also one of the bottom 20, famous for being "accidental", ranking 29th overall. Carinsurancecomparison.com reports data from the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration, the State Motorists Association and the Governor's Highway Safety Administration. The safest state according to the report is Rhode Island. States with good driving records also include Connecticut, Massachusetts, Virginia and New Hampshire. Then again, a car insurance company's report, believe it or not.
