Arizona has long been an ideal place for Canadians to buy a second home. This week, Canada-based Coldwell Banker President Susan Taddieag came to Phoenix to talk with local real estate agents about how to attract Canadian buyers. Real estate agents said that there are two main conditions for Arizona to attract Canadian home buyers: First, the weather (the current Albert province is only about 20 degrees Fahrenheit); second, the price. As we all know, Arizona is the hardest hit area for foreclosures in the United States. The price of a house of the same size in Phoenix may be only one-third of that in Canada. In addition, many Canadian seniors have the tradition of flying south to Arizona for the winter, although for a period of time the Canadian government cut welfare, keeping these birds away from the warm Phoenix. But the baby boomers have inherited a fortune from their grandparents, the Canadian dollar is strong, and the Canadian economy is strong, which are advantages for Canadian buyers. Agents say that most current Canadian buyers are 50 to 60 years old and prefer to use cash. The new trend is for several people to jointly purchase a house and use it as a vacation home together. Dediag said that 90% of Canadian buyers like to choose a house online, and then learn about the property through video. It is likely that even the transaction process is completed online, and then they come over for vacation with their suitcases in hand. Where can I find such buyers?
