Three state universities in the state have decided to raise tuition in the fall and will hold hearings on Wednesday in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, Yuma and Sierra Vista to hear student feedback. It is reported that UA will increase tuition for in-state undergraduate freshmen and graduate students by 2.7% and out-of-state undergraduate and graduate students by 2.9%. NAU's tuition fees are somewhat detailed. In-state undergraduate students will increase by 5%, out-of-state undergraduate students will increase by 2%, local graduate students will increase by 5%, and non-local graduate students will increase by 3%. ASU treats in-state and out-of-state students equally, with a 3% increase for both undergraduate and graduate students. The Arizona College Board will vote to approve the above fee increase plan on April 5.
