After the Federal Supreme Court ruled on the SB1070 immigration law on the 25th, immigration lawyers suggested that those holding non-immigrant work visas in this state should carry their visa or a copy of the visa with them to avoid being interrogated and detained. Immigration attorneys point out that state law enforcement officers are not necessarily trained to read immigration documents. In fact, anyone with a driver's license in this state has legal residence status. Law enforcement officials in the state may not always know the status of their work visas, so it is better to be cautious to avoid delays or even detention. Immigration attorneys advise H-1B visa holders working in the state to carry their visa or a copy with them. Other lawyers pointed out that foreign workers should carry their passports, visas, and I-94 immigration cards with them. White House spokesman Carney said on the 26th that the Obama administration is concerned about the implementation of immigration laws in Arizona.
