> A naked man appears in Presco, steals a car and is shot dead by police (Alberta Times) A naked man who stole a car in Prescott last Friday was shot by a police officer and taken to a hospital, where he died on Sunday, Yavapai County police spokesman Eve Lind said. The police also shot and killed his pet dog. Police received a call from a campground near Lynx Lake last Friday morning, reporting that a naked man suspected of being drugged and out of control had stolen a red Jeep. When police later found the Jeep near the accident site, it had been crashed. The police quickly found the naked man responsible and surrounded him, but he fought back. The police officer fired in self-defense, first killing his dog and then shooting and wounding the naked man after using a stun gun to subdue it. The naked man was rushed to Yavapai Regional Medical Center, where he died on Sunday. Evelind said that the naked man responsible for the accident was named Calvin Forey, 27 years old. A few days before the accident, he was arrested for taking "bath salts". The police found his attitude cooperative and released him. The police did not say that the incident was related to the use of "bath salts."
