Taiwan photo exhibition celebrates the 33rd anniversary of the sister city of Phoenix and Taipei City Phoenix City Mayor Stanton visited in person to see and emphasize the strong friendship between the two cities Contributed by Phoenix Taipei Sister City The Taiwan High-Tech and Customs Photo Exhibition was on display at the Phoenix Central Library from July 1st to August 7th to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of sister cities between Phoenix and Taipei, as well as the centenary of the founding of Arizona. The photo exhibition was successfully completed. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton accepted the invitation from Phoenix Taipei Sister City Chairman Li Linglin to visit the Taiwan exhibition in person. He was accompanied by Phoenix Taipei Sister City Chairman Li Linglin and Qiu Wenqi, who gave a special tour and explanation for Mayor Stanton. Mayor Stanton looked at every picture of Taiwan attentively and carefully, and always asked about the background and history of the picture. Mayor Stanton said that he was very happy that Phoenix City has such an advanced and beautiful sister city of Taipei. Phoenix City was also honored to have established a sister city with Taipei City for 33 years. Mayor Stanton particularly emphasized the strong and eternal beautiful relationship and friendship between the two cities. At the same time, Mayor Stanton also praised Phoenix Taipei Sister City for its continuous efforts to enhance the friendly relations between Phoenix City and Taipei City, and promote The various efforts and contributions made by Phoenix City and Taipei City in the cultural, educational, artistic, technological, and economic and trade exchanges between Phoenix City and Taipei City. On behalf of Taipei Sister City, Phoenix Taipei Sister City Chairman Li Linglin presented Mayor Stanton with promotional materials and souvenirs of Taiwan and Taipei City, and invited the mayor to lead Phoenix City Taipei Sister City to visit Taipei, Taiwan, to celebrate the eternal friendship between Phoenix City and Taipei City. The Taiwan High-Tech and Customs Photo Exhibition was on display at the Arizona State Government Museum for two weeks from April 1 to 15, three days at the Phoenix City Government Exhibition Hall from May 16 to 18, two weeks at the Phoenix City Hall from June 1 to 15, and five weeks at the Phoenix Central Library from July 1 to August 7. The Taiwan Exhibition attracted huge crowds in all venues, as well as groups of teachers, students and parents from schools. It was an outstanding success. The Taiwan High-tech and Customs Photo Exhibition is provided by the Los Angeles Economic and Cultural Office, and is organized by the sister city of Phoenix Taipei, the Chinese Language Institute of Alberta, and the Chung Hwa Academy. We are very grateful to all the volunteers for their assistance, the Chinese media and American mainstream media for their publicity and reporting, and everyone's support, so that this exhibition can be held as scheduled, go smoothly, and be a complete success.
