Alberta held several gun shows in a row, and gun sales continued to boom "Alberta Times" After the Connecticut school massacre and a series of shootings in Colorado, gun control has once again become a highly controversial topic. Many people rushed to buy guns and ammunition before the government introduced gun control laws, resulting in an unprecedented boom in the arms sales industry. Just this week, the FBI released background check data for gun buyers in December, setting another record. The National Rifle Association estimates that it has had 8,000 members a day since the Connecticut school shooting. Although gun shows and sales have been suspended in many places across the country, the state has not been affected. The Arizona Gun Show will travel to meet gun enthusiasts. It starts this Saturday at the Pima County Fair in Tucson, then moves to Centennial Hall in Mesa next weekend, and the following week to the Arizona Fair in Phoenix.
