Suspects of bomb fraud, a false alarm at the Douglas Port On Sunday morning, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous call from a woman claiming that a bomb was placed in the back seat of a vehicle traveling from the United States to Mexico and was intended to blow up the U.S.-Mexico border customs in Douglas. Based on the call, the county police immediately closed the outbound direction of the customs and stopped a car traveling north in front of the customs. There were a man, a woman and a child in the car. After a careful search, no suspicious items were found. The police reopened the exit channel that afternoon.
