The aftermath of the Boston serial bombings: Obama commemorated the Chinese student Lu Lingzi On Thursday, President Obama went to Boston to attend a public memorial ceremony for the bombings. During the ceremony, Obama paid special tribute to Lu Lingzi, a Chinese student who was killed in the bombings. "Our hearts go out to the victims from China, 23-year-old Lu Lingzi and her family. Lu Lingzi's family sent her to Boston University to study so that she could experience everything this city can give her." "Her family and friends on both sides of the ocean are heartbroken by her death, and humanity connects us at this time." Chinese student Lu Lingzi was the last confirmed victim of the bombing. Lu Lingzi entered the Department of Statistics at Boston University a year ago. The school evaluated her as an outstanding student in Boston and a rising star in science. On the evening of the 17th, Boston University held a memorial service for Lu Lingzi. It is reported that Lu Lingzi’s family will arrive in Boston soon. Obama also mourned the other two victims, 29-year-old Krystle Campbell and 8-year-old Martin Richard. On the 15th, a series of explosions occurred during a marathon in Boston, killing three people including Lu Lingzi, and injuring more than 170 people, some of whom were still not out of danger.
