See if your school is on the list? Ranking of the ten colleges and universities with the highest student happiness index in the United States On Monday, August 4, the "Princeton Review" announced its annual ranking of American universities. The Princeton Review differs from other authoritative rankings in that it does not rank schools overall. Instead, the rankings were based on a total of 62 aspects of the school's political leanings, quality of life, dormitory conditions, and social life that students care about. The survey questions ranged from "How much financial aid did you receive? Is the food in the hall delicious?" and covered a wide range of topics. The ranking results are not completed by professional institutions, but are derived from a survey of 130,000 students. Vanderbilt University, located in Tennessee, took the lead this year and topped the list. The school's student happiness index ranks first in the United States. Vanderbilt University deserves its No. 1 ranking, and students do have a lot to be happy about: Not only does the school offer huge financial aid, but it's also known as one of the most cost-effective colleges in the country.
